Installation and Setup

• The cameras run on computer over a GigE or USB3 connection, depending on camera type.

• All low level camera and filter drivers are provided by MVS camera driver SDK from from HikVision.

• Make sure to run MVS to install. When completed run MVS to verify that camera can be found and are operational. Set up IP addresses if needed.

  • Note. MVS can be downloaded from the Scorpion Vision Installer or the Release notes on this help page.

• If needed download the Scorpion camera driver and copy into Scorpion Runtime.

  • Note. Scorpion drivers are already installed with Scorpion. Use this step only when upgrading to newer driver version.
